Through our web site, we strive to provide valuable information to you about how we may serve you and we hope our site answers your questions about our products and services, locations, and hours. Eagle Federal values your interest and is committed to protecting the privacy of our visitors.

Our web site does not require you to disclose any personally identifying information. If, however, you choose to contact us via e-mail or complete an electronic form, please keep in mind that your e-mail address and any other information your e-mail header shows about you, such as your name or organization, will be revealed to us in the e-mail. Your e-mail address will not be sold, nor will it be shared with others outside the credit union unless we are compelled to do so by law.

From time to time, we may solicit information from you for our guest book, or in connection with a giveaway or drawing. The disclosure of information is entirely voluntary on your part and, if you choose to give it, the personally identifying data will be used internally, primarily to enable us to contact you with additional information about the credit union and services we offer. On occasion, credit union staff may contact you by e-mail for other purposes. You should never provide information that is sensitive or confidential such as your social security number, account number or PIN numbers. For statistical purposes, Eagle Federal may use a counter to obtain such information as type of browsers used, time and number of browsers on our site, and other general tracking information. A specific member cannot be identified using this information. This information is used internally and will not be sold or shared with others outside the credit union unless compelled to do so by law.

Encryption

Electronic interfaces with members (such as Internet transactions) will be encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption.

Account Access

When you apply online for accounts or services, or enroll in and use online banking, you are required to provide personal information that is necessary for us to process your application. Member account information and transactions will be protected by a password that must be used in conjunction with a username whether on a computer or mobile device. Members must apply for this capability and be registered with the Credit Union for authentication purposes.

During activation of some of the mobile features you will be prompted to give the mobile application certain permissions including the following:

Contacts: Allowing access lets you add contacts to use with features that allow you to send money via your mobile app. We will only add the contacts you choose, and that information will not be shared.

Camera/Images: This app uses your camera to capture check images, take picture of receipts, scan ID, and scan authorized QR codes.

Phone Numbers: Phone numbers collected will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for use in SMS messaging for marketing purposes. SMS messaging will only be used for transactional communications regarding your account.

Cookies

Cookies are pieces of information stored directly on the device you are using. Cookies we use do not contain or capture unencrypted Personal Information. Cookies allow us to collect information such as browser type, time spent on the site, pages visited, language preferences, and your relationship with us. We use the information for security purposes, to facilitate navigation, to display information more effectively, to personalize/tailor your experience while engaging with us, and to recognize your device to allow your use of our online products and services. We collect statistical information about the usage of the site in order to continually improve the design and functionality, to monitor responses to our advertisements and content, to understand how account holders and visitors use the site and to assist us with resolving questions regarding the site. We also utilize cookies for advertising purposes. Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags, pixels, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our website.

Log and Usage Data

Email Security

Regular Internet email is not secure. You should never provide information that is sensitive or confidential such as your social security number, account number or PIN numbers. We also ask that you do not send personal or account Information through regular email.

Google Analytics

Many websites and apps use Google services to improve their content. When they integrate Google services, these sites, and apps share information with Google. We use Google Analytics to better understand how users are visiting and using our sites. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. Google Analytics collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Eagle Federal Credit Union is committed to protecting the online privacy of the children who visit its website and to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). COPPA prohibits unfair or deceptive acts or practices in connection with the collection, use or disclosure of personally identifiable information from and about children on the Internet.

Personal information: Eagle Federal does not collect or use underage members’ personal information through this website.

Site traffic records: Eagle Federal collects information on domain names, types of browsers used and dates and times of visits to www.EagleFederal.org. This information includes no personal identifiers and allows Eagle Federal to record website traffic to improve navigation and content.
